Definitely interesting, but I think that Canon is making a mistake making a whole new lens system (at least that's what I understood) for this new breed of cameras.

People mostly invest in lenses and so it makes more sense to make lenses compatible with the body.  That way you can just put your lenses on the newer, smaller camera body when you want to be less conspicuous or when you want less to carry around with you.

Anyway, the mirror less DSLRs are definitely here to stay.
