Robert Campbell Hiway / Nahanni Range Rd

Robert Campbell  was a Hudson's Bay Company fur trader and explorer and , He travelled a large part of the southern Yukon and northern British Columbia. He established a trading post called Dease Lake, in 1838  was the first European to reach the Stikine River overland.  He established Fort Frances for futher reading follow this wikipedia link

The Robert Campbell Highway in the Yukon is named after him among one or two other things,

these pictures are taken on the Robert Campbell and Nahanni Range rd in 2016 ! Which runs from Carmacks to Watson Lake a distance of 600 and some km with the Nahanni Range rd running off from it  which is about 100 km from Watson Lake!
The name Nahanni comes from the indigenous Dene language name for the area;
 Nahʔa Dehé ( no I do not know the pronunciation of this word I will try better in the Future )
