Here and There

I couldn't be with the group at the Royal Botanical Garden; by change few days later I had the opportunity to visit the Botanical Garden at Montreal. Enjoy some of the pics t took.  They have the Mosaiculture that shows works created by horticulturist-artists

Today I want to share 3 pictures that I took in Montreal, In 2 of them (organ and Rose window) I use HDR

Enjoy

Moon and Jupiter were together on January the 22nd. Problem:  Moon's brightness is stronger than Jupiter's brightness; Solution: HDR, so I bracketed 3 images and then in one picture the 2 celestial objects.

____________

I was experimenting with HDR; here are 3 pictures with this technique: I had fun learning how to do it.

Expo Blending (DigiKam) is the application that I used for this pseudo HDR

Enjoy

___________

We just had a Blue Moon. Here are 2 pictures that I took yesterday in Aurora.

Enjoy

_____________

The night was beautiful so I point my camera to the Ursa Minor , smaller bear or little dipper constellation on top of my roof at home and let the camera works for me

Sorry, no UFOs this  time

This picture was made with a series of 90 pictures, during 90 minutes.   The duration of every single picture was 15 seconds; ASA 800. The program that was used to stack those and made this photo is startrail.

The link to the program is in the link section of this web camera club.

Later on I will post the video as well

Enjoy

Great Capture

Hello William

I only heard of that after the fact I was to busy with looking after some Critters for My Daughter and it would also help if I read a bit more current event items but it was a busy week I do not watch TV it is a waist ( yes to much of that causes one of those ) I meant waste of time I would Rather be out taking pictures.

I see You get around a bit what do You shoot with when out of town as DSLRs are a bit cumbersome away or put in another way in strange parts?

Well Done Thank You

Rick
