I found these 2 audio documentaries on William Notman of Montreal a fascinating piece of photographic history. He developed photoshop, later popularized by Adobe, in 1867. His other accomplishments, considering the technology of the day, are amazing. A large portion of his body of work is available for viewing at the McCord Museum in Montreal.
