Hello James, Claire, Shannon, Rick, Rafael, William, Ian, Barry, and Doug...
Thanks for agreeing to participate in the first Photo Exchange Activity. My apologies for taking so long to get back to you on this, but it's been a rather busy month and it took me longer than expected set up the photo exchange gallery.
The purpose of this activity is to exchange a raw and untouched photo with your partner and manipulate the photo in a creative and interesting way using software of your choice. Each person is to manipulate their own photo as well as their partner's. At the next meeting (February 26) you will have an opportunity to briefly explain what inspired your interpretation of the photos.
Here are the people who are partnered as well as their email address:
James Hellard -- xj88@hotmail.com | Ronen Grunberg -- reelstories@rogers.com |
Claire D'Aurore -- claire.aurore@rogers.com | Shannon Underwood -- shannonu@rogers.com |
Rick Armstrong -- armstron@sympatico.ca | Rafael Payan -- bisara230@gmail.com |
William Varela -- willimayi@gmail.com | Ian Beck -- ijbeck@hotmail.com |
Barry Bridgeford -- canoe@algonquinadventures.com | Doug Underwood -- dougu@rogers.com |
Please get in touch with your partner and arrange to exchange photos.
Once you've "interpreted" your partner's image, as well as your own, you can upload the images to the new Photo Exchange Gallery. You can do this by logging into the APLCC website and clicking on the "Add Content" link. You will see a Photo Exchange Gallery link which will take you to the upload page. Please carefully follow the instructions on the page to upload your images.
Each person should basically upload the following:
- Your original image
- Your manipulated image
- Your partner's original image
- Your partner's manipulated image
So each person should upload a total of four images.
Please email me with any questions or concerns.
Take care,
Ronen
