I have arranged for us to have a summer meeting on Thursday July 12 in the Aurora Public Library Optimist Room, which is located inside the library. The meeting will be between 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm. Just be aware that there will be no June meeting. On the agenda for the July 12 meeting will be a discussion on the summer Walkabout itinerary, critiquing of the "On The Street" monthly challenge images, as well as a brief look at the principles of HDR and software to use for HDR photography.
As many of you have probably noticed the new APL Camera Club logo is now live! Many thanks to Deborah Barley who volunteered her time to design the logo, the membership card, as well as the APLCC information card. I have posted all of these on the front page of the website for you to look at.
I will be working on an itinerary for the summer walkabouts. The following places are a possibility:
- St. Jacobs & Elora Gorge
- Scarborough Bluffs
- Sharon Temple
- Mono Cliffs
- Guildwood Park Scarborough
- High Park & Roncessvales
- Cheltenham Badlands
- Mcleans Auto Wreckers
I will post a definitive schedule in the next couple of weeks. If anyone has any more ideas for good places to photograph, and which are relatively easy to access, please post it on the forum in the Interesting Places for Outings thread.
The monthly challenge for the July 12 meeting is On The Street. To those who have not submitted a photo yet, get your cameras out and go out "on the street" to snap your wonderful images.
