Hi Everyone,

Well, 2016 is quickly coming to an end.  I just want to wish everyone all the best during the holiday season as well as a wonderful new year.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all in 2017.

RESCHEDULED MEETING FOR DECEMBER

Because the official day of our next meeting (December 29) falls right between Christmas and New Year’s, I have rescheduled the December meeting to accommodate what I’m sure is a very busy schedule for most of you during this time.  So instead of meeting in December, we will have two meetings in January.  We will meet on January 5th and 26th.  I will send a reminder email closer to the January 5th meeting.

MONTHLY CHALLENGE

Please remember that the Monthly Challenge for the January 5th meeting is Calm Simplicity.  This is a fairly broad topic so there are lots of options in terms of the kind of images that you can submit.  Basically, though, the idea is to convey a sense of calmness and keep the number of elements in your images to a minimum.  In other words, keep things simple and don’t clutter your images with too much stuff.  If you have any questions about this challenge, please don’t hesitate to email me at reelstories@rogers.com.
